Performance Prep

Performance Prep gives students the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of theatre performance and production. Meeting twice a week for rehearsal, AVK’s acting troupe will produce and perform a play in just two months! Included in the program they’ll receive acting lessons, specialty workshops, and one on one training. Students will gain experience in acting, auditioning, character building, improv, live performance, and more! Performance Prep is guaranteed to inspire creativity, boost confidence, and sharpen an array of skills!

Performance Prep will produce their own version of Alice in Wonderland! Auditions will be held on January 3rd, by appointment ONLY. Make your appoint via email or phone today! Actors ages 7-17 are encouranged to audition.

Improvisation is a valuable tool on and off the stage. Explore character building, scene analysis, comedic timing, and confidence boosting games that keep education fun!

​Thursday class is perfect for middle or high school magnet hopefuls, young actors looking to sharpen skills, and first time actors alike! Ages 13 - 17 welcomed. *Age exceptions for advanced 12 year olds can be made by audition. *
