2026 CLASSES
Registration is now open for 2026 ACTING, MUSICAL THEATRE, AND VOICE CLASSES! Read the description, pick your class, and you're all set! Register easily below or on our "Book/Register" tab. Auditions will be held on March 31st from 5:30 PM- 7:30 PM, at our rehearsal home, True Movement Dance Studio, near The Falls and Kendall.
Improv! - 13+ only

Our six-week Improv Class is all about creativity, confidence, and connection! Led by AVK veteran Drea, this class invites students to explore the world of improvisation through fun, fast-paced games and group activities designed to spark imagination and self-expression.
Students will learn how to think on their feet, trust their instincts, and build teamwork skills—all while discovering new sides of themselves in a supportive and laughter-filled environment. Improv helps performers grow as actors and as people, encouraging confidence, communication, and creativity that go far beyond the stage.
The class meets once a week on Mondays from 4:30–6 PM, and will conclude with a final showcase performance for friends and family.

Acting & Musical Theatre
March 31st - May 2026
A Journey Down the Yellow Brick Road is an original acting & musical theatre showcase featuring the best pieces from the world of Oz!
Our actors will dive into pieces from The Wizard of Oz, Wicked, The Wiz, and a Wizard of Oz spoof for our comedians.
Our musical theatre performers will sharpen their skills with solos, duets, and large group musical numbers from The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked.
All of our favorite characters and pieces are tied together by an original script you can only find right here at AVK!
This session is focused on skill-building while still ending with a fabulous and original live performance.
Students will work on:
• Reading music & music theory basics
• Acting Technique: Character/Voice/Stage Presence
• Vocal production and vocal health
• Musical theatre dance
Get ready for a magical adventure featuring your favorite versions of Oz!
